Hey... I feel kind of silly asking this, but does anyone know how to pop a key back into the keyboard of a Z70V. I accidently popped my G key out, and just pushing it back in won't make it secure. I'm pretty sure i didn't break anything, just popped it out.

My "Esc" key has popped out before... all I had to do is position it correctly and press dowm firmly.

Keep trying.. there aren't really any tricks to popping a key back in

Hmm... I don't think it's that simple. I managed to get my key loosely connected to the keyboard, but I had to slide the one interlocking, overlapping plastic ring inside and under the other ring so that it hooked onto the silver metal hook on the inside.

Now it looks fine, and the right and left edges of the key are firm, but the top and bottom edges of the key are loose, i.e. they tilt up and down when you press them. Is anyone familiar with this overlapping plastic ring configuration for laptop keys?

    Thanks!

I'm actually guessing the ESC key is different from the full size G key and has a simpler locking mechanism. The locking mechanism under the G key seems to require the full size of the G key and would not even fit under the ESC key...

    Greets.
I loose an F11 key, but it was simple to put it again were it belongs.
On the laptop you should have something like this |--| .
First, you put the key in the way it catches the right "handle", sliding the key left to right. Then, after it is secure on the right side, press the left side of it against the keyboard.
    It should secure.
    Sorry the bad english.
