Who has done business with them? What is their service and customer support like?

The main question I have is with their return policy. I'm sure that they are great resellers because they have a near perfect record on resellerratings. It states on their returns policy that there is a 20% restocking fee for all unwanted purchases. Does this include say me receiving the notebook and then it has a serious hardware problem or external defect through no fault of my own and I want a full refund and not even a replacement?

I'm still up in the air about where to purchase from Xotic PC for $1855 including shipping or Proportable for $1850 with $55 shipping but it also includes a free notebook cooler and bluetooth express card remote control. Are those two things worth the extra $50 or not? I really like the services offered by Xotic and they have a satisfactory record with the BBB as well. Can anyone help shed some light on this for me?

    Thanks.

Unwanted means you just changed your mind...hardware problems is another matter entirely, but I'll leave it up to ProPortable to answer for that one.

Have you looked at btotech.com? They are selling the G1S for $1,805 with free shipping. They have a 7 day return policy with a 5% restocking fee that is charged only if the notebook is modified or shows damage. I have heard of them from this forum and I believe that they are a reputable dealer.

I'd go with btotech since their notebook is about $50 less and you get a better return policy. From what I've read the G1 is not that hot and probably does not need the cooler.

0% actually even if customized. 5% only if windows and cpu is customized. other then that 0% restocking for all products
