Should have it Friday or Monday! Can't wait.

What can I use software wise to gauge the performance of the new PC. I've been away from this stuff for a while so I'm not sure what's still out there. Is there a list somewhere of programs/utilities for boosting performance?

    Thanks

Congrats! I'm not sure if i mentioned this to you, but here's what I would do when I get a new laptop.

Use it, get the hard drive partitons the way you want it to be, uninstall any useless programs like Norton, and then start working on the startup and msconfig. Use BootLog XP to measure your boot time.

Overall if you feel that the notebook is a little too slow in your opinion, then format and start from scratch and then you can start installing your programs, and everything should be good.

    Enjoy! :D
