    on asus main website,
    ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Notebooks- ASUS U31SD

    there are models of the U31SD with core i5 processor, but how come i can't find any of them on the net. anyone know where can i find a reliable place to buy them ? or are they even released in the united state ?

    an extra question i would love to tag along, anyone here as any idea when the u43sd with core i5 will be release ? i am realllly looking forward to this machine

    The specific configurations depend a bit on the regions (we get the i5 version here in Australia). I think Asus only has the i3 as default in the states but sites such as GenTech offer upgrades on the CPU.

    so how much does it cost in Australia and how the warranty work if i buy one with the upgraded cpu from gentech ?
