    hi guys
    i have a g60 and a seagate momentus 7200.4 hdd in it.
can i install in a wd scorpio blue (5400rpm) for raid 1?
both are 320gb but one is 7200rpm while the wd is 5400rpm.
also, after setting up the raid, do i need to reinstall windows or do i just use my pc as usual?
    thx in advance.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the hardware in there is configured for raid. You might be out of luck.

Yeah there is no RAID with the Intel controller on the G51 or G60. You can do software raid though.

    1. yes, but its not really a good idea as the faster drive will only run at the speed of the slower drive iirc.

    2. yes.
