The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

v1s release date. supposedly end of july. rumors of it being pushed back by a month. release date is either going to make or break it for me.

ASUS has not announced anything yet, all the speculations are based on what ASUS dealers are saying. *Shrug*

I think you should have a real answer by next week, since that falls into the "late July or early August" deadline.

like cori said, that's the only way we get information around here. Asus seems to enjoy announcing products to great fanfare and then quietly releasing them several months later. The only people who really know when new models will be released are the folks at Asus headquarters in Taiwan. Info somewhat selectively then filters to Asus North America and from there to distributors and resellers, and finally to the general public.

If there were any "Real, solid facts" you would have heard them a billion times by now. Once anything solid comes out on these types of things, people tend to say it over and over and over.

Not that they don't say it over and over and over, even when it's not a real, solid fact, but just speculation and unconfirmed leaks. :)

so basically, any information period will be repeated over and over =P

If you google it and only this forum comes up, then you know it isn't real or solid =)
