This may seem like a dumb question, but how do you use the recovery partition? I've always just done a clean install of XP Home using the CD key on the bottom of my A8Jm. From what I've read, it's a lot faster to use the partition.

Always... like you've already formatted it multiple times? Well, if you did a full format by any chance, then you deleted the recovery partition. If not, hitting F9 on bootup will bring you to that recovery parition... just like using the recovery discs.. but even quicker.... It'll reformat and put the drivers back on and in a matter of a few minutes the system will be just like it came out of the box.

I've formatted it a few times, but not the recovery partition. I can still see it in disk management.

OK, then it's there... F9 will get you there.
