The ribbon cable for my M50Sv snapped- it's not an easy cable to get hold of (or cheap) does anyone know if ribbon cables from other Asus machines would be interchangeable- i.e. the F30 or X50 maybe??
I have a suspicion the touchpad itself may have an issue too- which leads to my second question- if i wanted to get a whole new touchpad with its own cable, are there any other asus touchpads that would work with that motherboard?
thanks in advance for any replies,
    David
