This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     resolution settings resetting with every reboot...ANNOYING

    hello,

    This has happened with several drivers now, including the official nvidia one. Problem is that ive got a second monitor hooked to my g50vt-x1 laptop, and ive got it as a primary and the taskbar on the laptop screen.

    With every single reboot, even when logging off and logging back on, the settings reset, primary goes to laptop and the res on the external monitor goes down from 1680x1050 to 1280x1024....

    this is REALLY annoying.... I can't seem to find a way to solve it.
