That's another system we may not see till next year as a custom barebone system.

    A few things:

    1. We're looking at like 9 pounds
    2. We'd be getting WXGA+ (not WXGA or WSXGA or WSXGA+)
    3. TV tuner is 99% out of the question

I've seen this and it's even though it's a 128mb x700, it's more like a regular 17" you'd see out on the market (with Asus' touches, design and quality of course), but it makes the W2 scream sexy even more..... It's going to be the 17" equivalent of the Z71v (sort of)... with looks inbetween an Z81k and a Z70v....... sexy by most standards, but sort of like the not as pretty, not as skinny, not as multi-talented, little sister to the W2v.

yeah, flaxx is right... it does sort of look like a M6/Z70 series type notebook. Definitely better looking than a M7/Z71...

You're both on crack..... READ! ........ I said it's the equivalent to the Z71v (bigger, heavier, lower quality screen)........ but then I said the looks are between a Z81k and Z70v...... the Z81, being an A4 and the Z70, being an M6...... It's classy because they were able to hide the girth through the design... much like they did with the W2. The W2 isn't a thick system, but looking at it from inbetween the top and the side (sort of like when you glance over to check for ports), it looks as thin as the V6.... So that looks nice and is a needed improvement over the rest of the A series and something like the Z71 (M7)......
