    is there a way i can disable my screen saver when i go into hibernate or stand-by?
    sometimes the screen saver will cause my notebook to come out of either mode

    What? That doesn't make sense. I use a screen save, and when it comes on, it doesn't affect either of hibernation or stand-by. Are you sure its the screen saver?
