I attached a secondary monitor to my W3V, but the screen appears to be blurry. It looks like it's about 1 or 2 pixels off. Now it's not like my monitor suck or anything, because I've attached it to my HP dv1000, and it is fine. They are at the same resolution of 1024X768. How can I fix this? Thanks.

You need to use the native resolution of your external monitor, which is not 1024x768.

The native resolution of the monitor is 1024X768. That is the maximum resolution it can go. Any lower wouldn't look right as a secondary monitor. mean, it was ok on the dv1000.

Just tried it on stock, still the same result. Though I noticed Omega was a little bit clearer.

Ok, I've just noticed that it's not a pixel off, it's more of ghosting effect.

If that was the case, I've read around, and it seems that the problem might lie in the vga cable. Time to go get a new one.

The new more expensive cable kinda solved the problem. It looks much better now, but there's still a bit of ghosting.

I have the same problem when using the Svideo to push the display out to the plasma at the plasma's native res of 1024 x 768.

Have not found a solution for it yet.

Kind of unrelated, but when I use svid to connect to any other monitor and then try playing something on winamp it doesnt show up on the external monitor. I can see it on my laptop but the winamp window is just black on the monitor.

I don't know the technical reason but i think it has to do with video overlay when you have two displays. I had this happen to me and when I switch the display to CRT only or TV only, then the video shows up (after restarting the app).
