You having someone put it together for you like btotech or gentech? The reason I ask is because there have been issues reported by people who put their systems together them selfs and did not get compatible RAM. If a dealer is putting it together then you'll most likely be safe with 3GB, but if your doing it yourself then you'll probably be safer with 2GB. Also, if you're going with the 3GB make sure there is a /3gb line in your boot.ini that your system uses those 3GB.

Also, consider going with a 250GB 5400RPM HDD instead of the 160GB 7200RPM, not much difference and more storage for the same price.

You get the exact same warranty, actually.

RAM & Wifi card are lifetime
HDD is 3 or 5 years
CPU is 3 years boxed/ 7 days OEM
    Video Card is 1 year
    Notebook is 1 year.

It's just that if you take an assembly, you have 1st year direct at the resseller for everything

Notebook/Video card have a 2 year from Asus and a 1 year accidental damage.

Save yourself the $50 bucks and stick to the DDR2, more mature drivers out there for it. For some strange reason people are having problems with newer drivers and the DDR3 card.
