What would run games better for a price of about $1700?

Offhand I'd say the c90, esp. since you may be able to upgrade the GPU later.

I don't think they're in the same class. The C90 is a desk top replacement. It uses a desktop processor. It'll run games better, but have a short battery life. Not meant to be away from power for long.

The IFL90 will run longer on a battery, but won't be as fast as a C90. It'll be more comparable to the G1S if it has the GT version of the 8600M.

I dont know what the big deal is, just get a bigger battery!

I get like 16 hours with mine before it needs a recharge.
