    smart gestures stopped working A55vd

    Okay...this is my first post, so, please be gentle!

    I've had an Asus A55vd since Win 8 came out. It's been lovely so far. But recently the "smart gestures" have stopped working on the touchpad. I can mouse around fine, and tap to click and all, but no pinch to zoom, or 2-finger swipe, etc.

    Again it's an ivybridge A55vd that came with Win 8 originally. I really have made no changes to the computer at all, so it's stock...

    any help?

    Have you downloaded any Windows updates recently? There are a lot of driver issues and driver utilities that are experiencing intermittent problems, as Windows 8 is still new and everyone is adapting.

    A recent update or software install most likely is the culprit. :)
