can anybody here suggest what solder should I buy to work on motherboards. I'm gonna change capacitors on an eMac and I got a soldering station but I am not sure what kind of solder should I get.

Also, is it better to use wick or a solder sucker?

I have no clue about soldering station you have.
My common sense tells me that you need sucker in first place while removing old capacitors (as well as all other stuff) from MoBo.
My common sense also tell me you need soft, low melting temperature solder (no-or-low silver)
