    Hey,

    If you attempt to take the stickers off the w3's palmrest, (in particular those massive specification stickers), will it strip the paint at all.

    I once had the situation where i attempted to remove stickers from a laptop i had, and it took off all this paint leaving an extremely ugly scarred palm rest.

    Yeah. Why do Asus put all these stickers on? Its okey to see what configuration the machine has. And maybe a little Sonoma or Ati X600 sticker just for showoff. But all of these big stickers could be under the laptop or something. Its almost covering all the palmarea.

    Think if you finally had got this stickers off. And you power up the machine and starts to type. You are never going to get all of the stickerglue off. And then you may have some heat from the processor.
    So there you are, stuck with your palms glued to the palmrests. Nice... (try to find out what Asus-support will say to that!, dont think the Asus-"wondergaranty" cover loss of skin on your palm)

    Yep - I took the stickers off my W3A no problem. They peel off easily, and don't leave any glue behind.

    no thats wrong.. they are painted over the carbon fiber. You should be able to peel them off quite easily and it won't do anything.

    isn't the casing carbon fiber? so no paint to worry about right?....someone correct me if i'm wrong. i know that i took off all the stickers on my s5n and had no problem, i hated the stickers, its looks so much cleaner and smoother without them.

    if all else fails, take off the stickers slowly as possible [ :D]
