i'm doing battery calibration thru the bios right now for a M6A i recently bought. now can i safely stop this calibration process while its running or will i mess up the battery? how long this calibration usually last? thanks for any info!

It's going to take a very long time and yes, it'll be safe to cancel if you want. I think it's a waste of time and probably not needed, in my opinion.

Don't waste your time doing the battery calibration on a new system....... What that's for is basically older systems. When your system gets to be a year old, your battery may only charge to 90% or something. What that does is it recalibrates the system so that it sees that a 90% charge is really at much as it'll charge to and it will reset the system to show that as 100%. It won't increase your battery life, but it'll give you a better read on what life is life.
