    It means you bought the most kick ass 17in laptop on the market. Thats just an educated guess though. :)

    Those last five digits speak to the configuration.........namely the cpu, ram, hdd, lcd, tv tuner

    I don't have the list here in front of me..... and we weren't given the US model code yet... but if I had it, I could help you decode it exactly.. but as long as you know the configuration you should be set anyway.
