lol i almost did the same thing.. get really thin pliers (maybe girls pluckers) and try and pry it out.. or get two needles with the help of someone else and grab either side nad pull it out somehow..

ur supposed to use the duo adaptor ur memory card comes with.

    anyhow good luck!

If you are not able to remove it yourself safely without damaging the machine, then it would be ok. However i suggest take it to your reseller and see what they can do for you.

Or ask for help from your reseller and they can further advise you in the necessary steps to fix it.

How to use the flash memory card reader is documented in the User Manual... page 44. Well the W3J is quite expensive for me, I have to be careful...

I did the exact same thing. I got it out with a pair of toothpicks.

I did the same with my A8F. I tried prying it out (carefully). Ended up jamming it even further and getting the top of my lapotop quite badly stracthed. I ended up sending it to Asus to fix, which they did. However still not got my machine back, after sending it to them nearly a month ago.

Not exactly a direct comparison, but I had a similar problem with a MemStick Duo in my PSP.

I found that these slots are sometimes springloaded, and you have to push in GENTLY to get it to unlatch, and spring out. Procede with care.

You'll want to use a very small, fine flathead screwdriver for this. The SD slot that you're stuck in does have a spring catch, but the question is whether the card will slide out on its own if you can get it in far enough to engage it - push in once to lock, push in again to release, then hope it comes out enough to be able to grab it. If not, you may have to send it in to be dismantled by tech support to get it out..... good luck!

Greedy guy tried making his 5 in 1 a 6 in 1! Is 5 not enough for you??

Opporation Extraction is in full progress... the ideal weapons, tooth picks, pins, screw drivers and "girls pluckers", have been identified. It's up to you brave soldier to successfully penetrate enemy teritory and recover the stored memory disc.

This reminds me of the time we dropped a doobie between the deck planks at my buddies place. It took 2 people half an hour using 2 chopsticks to finally remove it!
