    Hi

I have a subwoofer from my previous laptop and i was wondering how to connect it to my asus G51VX-R05

The wiring for the subwoofer are red, brown, orange, yellow, black

is it possible to connect it to my sound card amp?

It's hard to believe installing a subwoofer from another laptop onto the G51Vx would work; firstly, you'd need to make sure there is room in inside the G51 so that you can physically place the subwoofer inside the laptop. secondly, the subwoofer will most likely be another brand and it will be difficult to integrate it with your current speakers due to driver issues and whatnot.

What speakers on ANY laptop sounds good...
For that matter, every laptops integrated sound card is bad actually (besides Sagers Audigy with hacked sound drivers - thanks Daniel K ;)!)
Most people either use USB headphones (Megalodon, etc.) or external sound cards with headphones.
