i have a 60gig 7200 rpm hd in my old laptop i'd like to put in the v6j when i do get one. my question is. at least for my thinkpad, it a factory copy of xp was preloaded on the laptop. i dont know if its on the hd or if its in the bios or something. so if i put this faster hd in the asus, how would i go about restoring it to factory spec. does asus supply a restore cd or is it loaded on the hd or bios?

    Thanks

You will have to use the included restore kit to restore your windows onto the new drive. on a level of 1 to 10 its a 1 in terms of ease.
