    Hi there,
I have just bought an Asus Pro 31F but am experiencing a problem I cant solve...
On some (and only some) windows that I open up that require a check-box or button press, when trying to select the button with my synaptic mouse all that happens is that particular window becomes unresponsive as if it has been sent behind another window. All I can do is select the close window portion of the window, not anything inside the window...any ideas. This is happening on Vista Premium. Computer spec as follows...

    Intel core duo 1.8
    1 gig ram
    100 hard drive
    vista premium
    945 graphic
    15.4 screen
    bluetooth and infared
    web cam
    4 usb

Latest problem was witnessed trying to run a USB TV tuner driver from disc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
