This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    "system base device" on G1S with XP (solution)

    Hi,

    For those who have the problem of the "system base device" with the G1S after XP is installed :

    Insert the support CD(for Vista) from de G1S.

    go to device manager, right click on "system base device", update driver.

    Windows is going to search on the support CD, and it will install a ricoh driver.

    After that, all devices are OK.
