a new laptop is reported to come out called the asus g60
4GB of DDR3 RAM
from a 320GB to upto a 1TB solid state hard drive,
Blu-ray,
GeForce GTX 260M graphics card which has 1GB of GDDR3 RAM,
Core 2 Quad processor,
LED backlight screen and isolated light-up keyboard.
The G60 costs starting from £1500 and probably $1500.
predicted realease date- this September or next week though doubt it
so many new asus coming out g51, g71gx and now g60.. or could this be the new g51?????

Okay then..Maybe I'd not buy the G51 for now
I thought it was the same as the G51 except that it had quad core. Also looks remarkably similar too, with that robotic logo plus white finish.Oh well. I hope they'd change the 260M a little bit when the 45nm higher end cards of the 200M series do come out.
Wait..A 1TB SSD? That sounds awfully familiar to the VX5! -
It's the same case as the G51, so presumably it has the same cooling. I wonder what the temps will be with the 45W TDP processor... By September ASUS maybe will realize that the cooling in the G series does not do it's job well.

I swear I saw this laptop at Best Buy yesterday. Only had a 1366x768 screen, but had paint job and the 260m graphics card with 4GB ram and 2.0Ghz Core 2 duo. Now sure which one though.
