When I try to use my touchpad in my car it flys around and pushes buttons when I dont want it to, its not useable at all. Indoors, it works fine. Its a M50-b1.

Is there a setting I'm supposed to hit when I'm outside or something I'm missing?

i'd guess its from the heat making your touch pad jump.....not sure what can be done.

Touchpads function by capacitance, not heat.

It's probably just because your finger is bouncing up and down on the pad causing the pressure levels to fluctuate. I would turn off the option of "tap to click", and then try it again.

I would do what Lithus said and turn down the acceleration/sensitivity in Control Panel at the same time.
