Anyone have this problem where the side button to turn off the touch pad wont work anymore? I also have another problem with turning on/off the wireless with the button. I can turn wireless off with the button but i cant turn it back on with the button. All the other buttons work fine.

Try re-installing the ATK0100 driver...
if that doesn't work, you may need to re-install your wireless and/or your touchpad drivers. I'm pretty sure this just is a driver/software issue... -
I had the same problem before. Just go to Asus's support website and reinstall the touchpad drivers. That should resolve the problem. If not you can try doing a system restore.

Are you talking about the Synaptics driver? I cant seem to find one on the ASUS site... anyone have a link?
-
I have the same problem, but it is due to the Synaptics software, you have to have it running for that button to work. I turned it off of autostart using msconfig, and then eventually uninstalled the Synatics stuff because I wasn't using it because for some reason none of the drivers, current or otherwise, wasn't getting the scroll on the touchpad working. If that is not the case with you, then reinstall the lastest Synatics drivers and/or hotkey drivers as AuroraS said.

Like AuroraS said, try reinstalling the ATKxxxxx whatever drivers, by uninstalling them first, and your synaptics drivers, which I got off the synaptics website and not asus'.
Also try reinstalling your wireless drivers as those drivers seem to screw with everything.
No need to worry as it is just a driver issue most likely.
I reinstalled all those drivers and I'm A-OKAY now
