    HI,

Ive just recieved my U30JC yesterday. I got it blank since I had a spare Win 7 64bit lying around at home. So far my problems are:

    1. Can't install nvidia drivers or Optimus drivers. I get a msg during setup saying that no compatible hardware has been found.

    2. Can you turn off the fastboot thing at the start? its quite annoyting to have to click something to boot into Windows.

    3. Battery life doesn't seem up to par at first glance. I've been doing the basic windows set up stuff and im getting about 4-5h of batt life.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Regards,

    Alex

Sounds like you need to install chipset drivers for battery / video card, and fastboot can be disabled in bios, as well as in software.

I managed to disable the Expressgate with a Bios update. The main problem is the nvidia drivers... Wont even run the setup.

Are you sure you are using the correct Nvidia drivers? Try this NVIDIA DRIVERS 189.79
    or the beta 256 drivers.
