There was talk about this before, I don't have it on my laptop, but I would guess that you need to check in the BIOS and make sure that it is all enabled there. When you first turn your computer on, press F2 (thats what it is on most models, but it will say on the screen) to enter the Setup/BIOS. Then you need to find the TPM option (I don't know where it will be or what they will call it), and you want to make sure it is enabled. Good luck, hopefully someone else who has done this can fill in the details for me.

Sorry, then, hopefully someone else that has been through this (or one of the resellers) is around soon. Welcome to the forum, by the way.

All of the software/drivers you need should be on a disc if the z96js comes with one. If not, did you try using the device manager to point to the location of the downloaded driver?

i have all the drives in the cd provided - the problem is i cannot install tpm

so far, all the devices in the device manager have been installed.

i just can't figure out why it would always say trusted platform module could not be found

In the BIOS, try going to the security tab and look for TPM Security or something similar. That's where it is on the W3J. I had to check to make sure it's disabled. ;)

I think it probably does have it. I got this from a Google search. Tell me if it helps at all.
