This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can someone confirm if the u32 and u500 series come with touchscreen options? I've seen conflicting reports online, but can't seem to find anything conclusive on the Canadian version of the Asus website either...

    afaik, the touch U500 isn't launched yet, it is definitely planned, but not yet available. The U500 is already hard to find in Canada as it is. As for the U32, I haven't checked.

    Are we talking about the u500vz? That one is not available in the touch version, and there is no [apparent] news leak as to when it's slated. The non-touch edition is available under a different moniker: Review Asus Zenbook UX51VZ (U500VZ) Notebook - Notebookcheck.net Reviews
