This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     can anyone share their wisdom on how to enable s/pdif (over the headphone jack) on the ul30a-x5 notebook? i've searched and searched and can't seem to get an answer.

    assume it's possible based on the hundreds of review specs out there. is it coax or toslink? in addition to getting the requisite adapter, do i have to do anything on the software end as well?
