..XoticPC and GenTechPC have amazing customer service and better prices than newegg. Don't get me wrong, I love newegg, but if I pull the trigger on this thing it'll be with Xotic or Gentech

Actually, buy.com's ebay store sells this lappy for $825 and if you get the bing cashback of 8%, it will bring the total down to $759. Cheaper than anywhere else.

Eek! buy.com through ebay and bing!! oh my!

Saves a great deal of money indeed. Free shipping too? XoticPC has it for under 800 after discount with free shipping and their customer service is great!

That Ebay/bing price is too good to turn down. I was going to try and wait but for $759 I had to go for it. Hopefully I won't be disappointed.

*sigh* Good for you guys. Unfortunately, I live in California and the Bing cashback isn't even enough to cover the taxes (9.75%).

That means the laptop is coming from CA, huh? Cuz out of state shipping has no taxes.

Not necessarily. It just means they have physical presence in the state.

Ah, forgot about that stipulation. Luckily it's not the same in Washington, which has 9.5% tax. Second in the US under California...
