well im currently typing on my e6400. and i was wondering, do u guys think i should get the ul80vt? i want the ul80vt because of the amazing battery life and switchable graphics, and light weight

my dell e6400 is still running well and does give about 4 hours of battery life. but it does heat up pretty often.

but wats really pushing me back is the screen. its a 14 in wide screen with 13xx x 7xx(forgot the exact numbers lol) while my e6400 has a 14 in screen with 1440x900 and has the best screen available and the picture is amazing. and i love the ratio.

so i was wondering how the screen is at that resolution and how it does in the sun and light.

It's a glossy screen, so a lot of glare. Anybody want to add on the viewing angle?
difference between 1440*900 vs 13xx*768 is not that big, brother!

vertical viewing angle is a little flakey, but nothing too bad I find. Im not a big fan of glossy screens but the UL is not a glossomatic like my MBP's in bright light or outdoors.

id say if you want the battery and switchable graphics definatly go get the 80
