    I was wondering how easy it is to upgrade the parts on the Asus N53SV Series. I am talking about the standard things like HDD, Optical Drive, RAM.

    Also what things are upgradable? Maybe that is a better question.

    all the things you said above are easily upgradeable. There should be a panel on the bottom of the laptop that you can pop off after taking out the screw which would give you access to the ram. There should be a similar one for the hd. As for the optical drive there should be a screw on the bottom that has a cd icon beside it. Once you take out that screw it should just slide out of the casing.
