    upgrading ram to 2 gig

    i am upgrading my w3v to 2 gig memory but cant find the slot to install the 1gig stick i have. I installed the 1 gig stick in empty slot near hard drive but cant find other ram slot.

    thanks for any help

    You need to remove the keyboard... the extra slot is in the same place as the other one, but on the opposite side of the board....... which is under the keyboard.

    Remove the two screws with a small jewelers Philips at the bottom of the notebook marked "K".
    Then take a small jewelers flathead and carefully push down the 4 small latches holding down the keyboard on the top.
    Once these are pushed back and below the keyboard, you can easily pop the keyboard out.
    You will see a shiny rectangular piece of metal with springs holding it in place.
    Remove this and you find your other slot.
