Hello everyone, i've been reading this forum for a good half a month to make a decision on purchasing a laptop. I finally settled on the s96j when I saw that geared2play would upgrade the screen. However, I didn't act in time and now I'm looking at an alternative.
After looking at the service manual for the s96j, I realized replacing a screen was a task that looked managable. I really need a matte screen with a high resolution because I'll be doing photoshop work outside in the wilderness. So I was wondering if I could just replace the current screen in either the s96j or z96j with any screen I ordered (given it's the right dimension). Or does it have to be a specific brand. I can't find a compatibility chart so I'm assuming it's good to go.
I'm sure if I looked around on http://www.screentekinc.com/ or something, I could probably find a wuxga matte.

Thanks! but unfortunately they only go up to 1440x900 there. If geared2play went with sxga's it's possible that you can use an lcd not from that list right?
