I was thinking of getting the sound blaster x-fi go usb card
for my asus laptop but was wondering what the performance was like compaired to the onboard realtek HD is there a noticeable difference in the sound quality?

also was worried about how much cpu resources this would use
can someone report how much of increase in cpu usage when using this card?

i would be using it on my laptop with a core 2 duo 2.20GHz
