    Hey there,

I know this is a noob question, but i'm kinda new and am abit lost about this. thanks for any help in advance.

Firstly, the G1S has a light scribe dvd writer driver right?
I see lightscribe on the dvd drive.

I just read about it and i think its a really interesting technology.. i mean wow. u can imprint designs on your own cds!.

Anyway, how do i use this feature? i 'm not sure how it works at all. Any other users care to share?

The CD/DVD burning software that came with it will allow you to utilize the lightscribe feature. On your desktop, you should see a Lightscribe icon. Click on it and the rest is very straightforward. It just like burning a regular Cd, except you get to design and type what you want to imprint.

Lightscribe uses a special CD/DVD that is lightscribe compatible. They are a little expensive than normal CD/DVDs, but I think they are worth the additional price. Make sure you purchase the CD/DVDs that are capable of lightscribe technology.
