Hey there,
I know this is a noob question, but i'm kinda new and am abit lost about this. thanks for any help in advance.
Firstly, the G1S has a light scribe dvd writer driver right?
I see lightscribe on the dvd drive.
I just read about it and i think its a really interesting technology.. i mean wow. u can imprint designs on your own cds!.
Anyway, how do i use this feature? i 'm not sure how it works at all. Any other users care to share?

The CD/DVD burning software that came with it will allow you to utilize the lightscribe feature. On your desktop, you should see a Lightscribe icon. Click on it and the rest is very straightforward. It just like burning a regular Cd, except you get to design and type what you want to imprint.
Lightscribe uses a special CD/DVD that is lightscribe compatible. They are a little expensive than normal CD/DVDs, but I think they are worth the additional price. Make sure you purchase the CD/DVDs that are capable of lightscribe technology. -
ah thanks man! btw, did u get some error msg? it asked me to dl some driver software from www.lightscribe .com.
After that, it should have that icon that sits at the bottom of your start bar right corner right?(the lightscribe manager or whaterver)
Thanks for the help -
what happens if I use a none lightscribe technology CD?
