    Hello,

    i will be getting one of those the next week, the i7 version.
    Should i need to know something of this notebook? do i have to look for a particular version?

    Windows 8 will take some getting used to, if you aren't already used to it. It's similar to 7 in a lot of ways outside of the Metro UI, but not identical. And if you want Windows 7 or another OS, keep in mind that Asus systems with Windows 8 from factory will prevent you from a clean install of a different OS.

    Other than that, I hope you enjoy your new ultrabook! Since the Asus UX series laptops are pretty popular, you can find a lot of help here from the community and from past threads.

    It this true for all Asus systems? I'm looking at a UX31A-DH51 that comes with Win8. I would want to put Win7 on it

    On all Asus laptops shipped with Windows 8 you will need to enter the BIOS and enable CSM in bios boot tab, with CSM enable it will allow you install Windows 7.
