    ux32vd possible fan noise solution

    hi everyone,
    i know some people have had extreme issues with the fan noise from the ux32vd.

    as for me, i had no issues with the fan coming from the factory but after i did a clean install and installed drivers on it, i started having issues with the fan noise running at full blast for short periods at a time.

    i stopped the asus live update driver and ever since then, i have had no issues with the fan whatsoever.

    i hope this works for you guys too.

    i had a similar problem with my asus m50. I was able to find out that asus is known for this since they typically only use one fan, which means that it will burn out quicker then the average laptop. The solution i found that worked best for me was replacing the fan, you can find them for around $10 on eBay
