    v1jp is 32 or 64bit?

    might be silly question..... :eek:

    I dont know if my v1jp is 32 or 64...just let me know......will be appreciated..... :D

    It's a Core 2 Duo, so it should be 64bit.

    I'm thinking 32. Mine says 32 (I have a G1)

    IF you're using Vista....go Start>Control Panel>System and Maintenance>System

    It should say what bit under "operating system."

    Well we don't know if the OP is talking about processors or OS. So just cuz u have a 32bit OS, doesnt mean he has one also. At the same time, he could be asking about cpus, so once again what u have doesnt mean he has the same.

    A Core 2 Chip is able to run in both 32- and 64-bit mode.

    If you got the V1Jp from Asus and your system is as you recived it..

    Your Vista is probably 32-bit.
    Your Core 2 Duo is capable of running a 32 and 64 bit OS.

    I don't believe any OEM/ODM manufacturer of Computers is supplying 64 bit Vista except maybe on the server side.

    But as others have stated how to look it up :)
