ok, so i'm having a bit of a problem. many problems actually. my v1s has been acting up a lot! lots of freezing and bsods.... for reasons which i have no idea. i'm thinking that a bios update could solve or help these problems? i would wipe my harddrive... but the school semester is going to end in 2 months and that means lots of papers and projects, which simply wouldn't allow me to reformat my harddrive until mid december.

i downloaded the latest bios update from the asus support website for my model but i have no idea how to install it! i know i installed bios updates on my previous computer before, but it was a bit different than this file... any suggestions? i really don't want to mess my computer up!

thanks to all those to reply.
