The V1S is spillproof (for exemple, it won't break if you drop your coffee on it).

The G1S has a better graphics card (the memory in it is GDDR3 1400 while the V1S has DDR2 800).

The C90S is cheaper, could perform better and you can have both the DDR2 & GDDR3 card. (this is in USA only right now I think though).

I don't know where to buy the c90s in Russia but I know that http://www.excaliberpc.com/ ships to russia (would be like $100 but still).

The C90S could be about USD1400, wich is about 35,000 RUB

They are all excellent Laptops. I obviously chose the C90s which I would recommend, but I think you'd be pretty thrilled with any of them.

V1s: Light, Powerful, DDR2 512mb 8600GT, Modular battery and docking station
G1s: Lots of glowy lights, looks a bit silly, Heavy and hot, Amazing gaming performance
C90s: Heavy, Loud, Has quite a few build issues especially when installing yourself, Short warranty, Configurable and upgradeable.

To be honest the only Advantage the C90s has is you can swap out the GPU, You can change the HD/RAM/CPU on any other machine.

If you want a light sleek looking machine for gaming and work go the V1s. If you want the ultimate in gaming go with the c90s or G1s with GDDR3 memory, Keep in mind it will run hotter and the machine will need to be heavier and larger to disapate this heat. Given the choice between the G1s or the C90s I would go the c90s, At least it dosent look like a glow in the dark toy.

matt_h1: How are you doing in terms of your battery perfomance. Is your V1S switching good between modular battery and main battery.

^ C90 has better game performance then the g1 slightly because they have the same gpu. C90 is only loud when your gaming and its not loud enough to mask speaker sound unless your playing quietly, buts its like a hum not like a clunky sound or anything.

I would recommend the v1s. It's business class, has great build quality a good graphics card and it has style. If you game alot the c90 is a great choice but if you want style, reliability, spill proof keyboard, and a fingerprint reader pick the v1s. The v2s and w7s are pretty nice laptops too.

God I was there when it did. I was living in Siberia(literally) in the city of Kurgan. I was a younger man then at the age of 25. So that would put it roughly at 16 years.

    Damn I'm old.

    communism sucks.
by the way, i also thinking of buying V1S, or Sony SZ650,
V1S costs here 65K rubles, that is nearly 2500$.
i wanna say that G1S is very popular here in russia.

Er, no offense here, but unless you have a decent amount of knowledge on computers, which I find "most" (I didn't use "all") girls don't have, I'd advise against the C90s . . .

    So, I'd recommend the V1s . . .

    Or maybe G1s if you're going to game a lot . . .

I concur with Vendetta. I'm not saying that you will definitely encounter a problem if you purchase the c90s, but IF you do, you'll need at least an intermediate level of computer knowledge before you start troubleshooting. e.g. install/update drivers, flashing the bios, checking for ram compatibility (which the c90s infamous for), etc.
Otherwise, the V1s and G1s are also great options.
But to answer your questions, the c90s with the 256mb 8600m GT GDDR3 is better in performance than both the v1s and g1s overall.

Actually even with the GDDR3 version the C90s dosent appear to be doing as well as the G1s, Not sure why but this is what a few users have said.

Why do you say that? The c90s actually scored a little higher on 3dmark06 compared to the g1s (c90s: 3693 (stock drivers, no overclock, 1280x1024), g1s: 3630 (stock drivers, no overclock, 1280x1024)
