    hi guys.
i have the v6000 from probably 3-4 years ago.
everything is fine except for today when i accidentally dropped my laptop!!
then i noticed that my battery is loose... i think some parts are broken, but it still works if i make sure it stays in place.
Has this happened to anyone before? Or know how I can fix it? Take the laptop apart? Thank you!

Well first thing to determine is if the clips on the battery have broken, or those in the laptop. If only the battery is damaged, then you can get a new battery (which may be problematic for an older model, but I think they still stock some units on the ASUS eStore for the V6; they may be worn down due to sitting on the shelf for a while, though).

If the laptop is damaged on the other hand... not sure what you can do. You can indeed take the laptop apart and inspect the damage, see if it's something that can be fixed with gluing plastics. If it's just a plastic body part you may also find it quite cheap on the eStore. We have a disassembly guide for the V6 on the Info Booth.

    thanks for the info!
my battery isnt broken but 2 parts on the tips are T_T
and turns out the broken parts were IN the laptop... i was able to get one out, but the other one is stuck. I'll try to take the laptop apart again later.. but not sure which area I should take apart for the battery section. haha. not that great with computers.
