does anyone know of how i can reflash my v6v back to the original 8xx bios (was it 801?) now that i have changed it to 1102?
My box feels much much hotter and it has been unstable for me so i pretty much need it back.
does anyone have a modded flash that is able to flash over 1102 or know of how i can do this?
I know this was posted in the Asus forums but now i cant find it.

hi in very posts after u mensioned that problem. i never tried reflash the bios and i'm very happy this bios now. the temps are cool and i never have any problms since the update. search for a topic posted by u earlier. the anser for ur question is above my post. i think that was auroras who write it.
i remember this link http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb..._Dos_050127.zip. u can try it. but if i was u, i leave the bios alone. reflashing for me is even more dangerous then flashing.

sorry man... I don´t try it when i posted. But it works when i have it. ok AuroraS if you read this help makasin.

    Quote from AuroraS:

    1. Download the Dos flash utility AFLASH2_Dos_050127.zip from here:
    http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb..._Dos_050127.zip

    2. Download the OLD Bios image you'd like to revert back to (if something goes wrong with the new one) from the ASUS website.

    3. Create a Clean Bootable CD-Rom (for BIOS upgrade) as per the instructions on here: http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/#clean
Remember to copy the flash and bios to the correct directory!

    4. Boot from CD and run the flash program

    5. Done.

    Sorry makasin i can´t help.. I think i could but i couldnt.. :(
