Is there a battery that is available that has less than 8 cells for the v6v? I don't need much battery life (always near an outlet), but would like to lower the weight further. Thanks

You may be able to find a 4 cell in Europe or Asia, but I doubt it. Most of the offices realized how dumb of an idea it was as the 8 and 4 cell both share the same battery housing to complete the look of the notebook. The V6 and W3 both have 4 and 8 cell batteries and not many places even sold them with the 4. You'll save a couple ounces, but you have half the life..... so it's not a big seller even if you want one and after you use it, most people would complain about the battery life more than brag about the tiny weight savings.
