Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a SATA connector on the v6v motherboard? Will you be able to use the upcoming SATA drives in this laptop? Also...I'm definitely considering this machine, but now I'm wondering if I should hold out a while longer for the m6 replacements (called z70 I believe). The thing with the v6's screen is the main thing thats bothering me about it. Anyone know when the z70v is due out, and might want to speculate on the specs....Glossy or matte screen? SATA or PATA HDs? ExpressCard slot? Graphics card?, etc. etc.

The Z70V will most likely have a MATTE screen...and isn't expected to come out until around June/July-ish in the US.
    I'm sorry I can't answer your question about the V6V [|)]
Btw, you can check out the specs for the Z70V on ASUS's global site right now; look for the M6V; the Z70V and M6V should pretty much be the same, if not exactly the same:
