Hey I have been having a lot of trouble with my v6v lately after i underclocked my viddy card. Could this cause any problems?
For some reason, when i just restarted my computer, centrino hardware control didnt want to start up at all saying something like "could not launch chcNT driver" and every now and then I get a "Generic Win32 service has to be shut down" thing. I dont know if these things are related to the viddy card incident, but for some reason I have been experiencing some weird stuff going on with windows

Its quite possible that chc is causing problems, although its a great little mod tool, its not without problems and stability issues are common. The good news is that this is easy to test, just disable chc, restart and see if your problems persist, if they do, then the problems are larger than chc, and you may have a corrupt driver for eg.

I also have encountered an error every once in a while that goes something like this:

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

When this happens, my windows theme gets messed up.
Is this all software or could it be hardware related?

This sounds more like a SOFTWARE problem, although a hardware problem is possible too.
The best way to find out is to do a reformat...but if you can't/don't want to, I'd suggest uninstalling some unnecessary programs and ending various background processes
