    hey guys!
yeah ive been having trouble with my v6. recently for some reason, the wireless button on my v6 does nothing. all the other quick buttons show the little icon pop up whenever bluetooth is toggled for example. Wireless just doesnt work. I cannot even check my status in intel PROset wireless because it says that there is "no wireless card inserted" type of thing.

my v6 has just been a series of problems and i dont really have time to mess around with sending it back and forth since i need the computer for school. Most of the problems seem to be software-related but they just occur randomly even when i havent changed the configuration.

I agree... it indeed sounds like software issues.

I would concur with Justin's suggestion:
uninstall the PROset drivers, ATK0100, and then re-install them both,

now i just updated to the newest BIOS in an attempt to fix things and now when i start up windows, all the services that appear in the tray crash and the system immediately restarts. Im doing this in safe mode.
    what do i do?

I highly doubt a BIOS update would have helped... it really does appear to be software related.

I hate to suggest it, but perhaps a reformat of your HDD would be ideal. Be sure to backup whatever you can...

well now i successfully got my system to boot properly.
i did this by turning the speedstep in the BIOS to minimum speed.
This probably means that its a heat problem.
WHen i boot up i can see notebook hardware control say that my temp is around 67C-69C and then it just restarts.
how do i revert to my previous BIOS?
