I m looking for some advice and help about a recent problem with my ZENBOOK UX32VD

The problem is it takes a while to boot up....between 2min and 8min with an annoying black screen before the "ASUS logo starting up and loading circle " l....it was not the case before and it .

I tried a lot of things that people talked about on internet: downloading all the latest bios and drivers
And it didn't change anything, it is still freakin slow to get the welcome menu....then the laptop works pretty fine in windows .

    very randomly detect iSSD

I should also mention that I got no response typing F2, F8, F12 or the space bar during the long black screen when starting up the machine....which is pretty annoying too.

This is definitely odd, as a Zenbook SSD is very fast, plus Asus usually has minimal bloatware. Try Backing Up the machine, then resetting it to Factory Default. If the issue remains, contact Asus, as it would then be clearly a hardware issue, and a mandatory SSD replacement would be required. Good Luck

One more thing, is this ultrabook still covered by it's warranty?

This could be the problem all in itself if the iSSD is faulty. Is it configured to be the boot drive or is it for cache?
